This coat, a
Hungarian szur, is my tribute to my Hungarian
grandmother, Katherine.
The collar and lapels are decorated with original design
paint stick rubbings and foiling.
Quilting is done with silk thread.
The bodice incorporates fabric collage, paint stick
rubbing, fibers, fabric painting, and netting.
(Cottons, crushed velvet, netting, hand carved stamp,
paint stick rubbing, foil, beaded buttons, machine
quilted.
